I had a massage at Rubs about 2 months ago, and it was not the best massage. I believe I had a newer therapist so I didn't want to say anything in the spa where she could hear me. During the massage, i asked for full body but to focus on my neck and shoulder, i think she touched my shoulders 3 times. Most of the time she was covering me with EXTREME amounts of oil. At one point she got a wet towel out of the warmer, and shook it to cool it down, but hot water was flung at me, this happened 3 times during the massage. I really wanted to relax... hopefully shes gotten better....just upset a spent money to get drowned in oil and burned with hot water.read more

We went for a couples massage yesterday and overall it was pretty nice. However, I was not too happy to hear that when my husband went to pay they were saying there was no credit left on my gift card, and this is very incorrect. I explained that the writing on the back of the gift card wasn’t even mine, it was the receptionist at the Salon in Tucson. So I am now waiting to hear back from the manager today, so we’ll see and I’m interested in how they will handle customer care.read more

I had a great deep tissue massage by Amber at the Chandler
location. Thank-you Amber. My Husband and I have enjoyed couples massages at the Oracle Location in Tucson for 4 yrs. Great rates and they take care of the customer!!. I have been a Nurse Practitioner for 40 yrs, know this end of the healthcare spectrum and promote massage therapy for chronic pain over medications to decrease pain and improve mobility.read more

The introductory price of $49 makes it worth trying out. My experience with Becky was excellent. She seems capable of any type of massage. I went with a medium relaxation massage. The room was clean and she asked about the temperature which was just right for me. Gentle music plays in the background. First have always been greeted by friendly and courteous desk staff.I have had many massages with Chrissy and find she is amazing at working highly tense areas of the body. She also helped me increase the range of motion in my shoulder after an injury from a fall. I was amazed that the first massage after the fall, the radiating pain I had experienced in my arm and hand subsided. After the next week's massage the radiating and tingling in my arm and hand has never returned. I truly believe she saved me from having shoulder surgery as the pain was intolerable and surgery was recommended. I think ice and anti-inflammatories also helped but she does give a fanastic massage.read more

They were able to accommodate a last minute couple's massage request. Loved that hot towels were incorporated at different points during the massage. Also, their bed was warm and cozy -nice touch! I gave 2 stars because the massage was good, however, the face pillow part of the table smelled a little off and I came down with the flu 2 days after my visit, with rubs being literally the only public location I visited in a 5 day period as I work from home. It is not possible to know that I got it from there for sure, but I don't normally go smashing my face into other publicly accessed items for an hour.read more

Staff is great, the therapists are all good and you have to keep in mind that depending on how you like your body worked on, that's how you find the person for you. If you don't like one massage, get another with a different person cuz maybe their technique is different.read more

I am still visiting Cheyenne for my massages and she is still off the charts amazing... but this updated review is for the facial I just got a couple of weeks ago.
WOW. I had totally forgotten how amazing facials were. She used Eminence products on me that smelled fabulous and made my skin feel hydrated and fantastic. She also does an upper body massage (arms/shoulders) that felt wonderful. I will be a repeat customer in the facial arena.

Love this Rubs. The location is nice, very contemporary and well decorated. The staff at the front reception area is always super nice and welcoming. The little waiting room is comfortable, smells great and has a tranquil vibe to it.
I have been coming in here on and off for a number of years and while some of the massage therapists cycle in/out ... I have never had a bad massage here, particularly for the price.
The rooms are very comfortable, clean and relaxing with some nice zen music playing.
I do recommend this location, and Rubs. If you just are looking for a relaxation massage save ten bucks and get the classic massage vs. the signature massage. The difference is that the signature massage therapists apparently have more experience and time in which is great if you have problem areas but I don't and have been happy with both types.read more

Unfortunately bought a groupon for a massage. Signed up for a deep tissue massage and the first thing my therapist tells me after I’ve laid on the table that deep tissue hurts her. Understandable and I obliged to go through with it hoping to relax, but it literally felt like the most average massage ever. Went there because it’s in the same family as rubs, but I was highly disappointed.

The manager Shaughnessy reached out to me after seeing my previous two star review and offered to make it right. I was set up with Ciara and wow!! This was a fantastic massage. The front of house staff was very nice and professional. My opinion of this place surely did change and I will be scheduling with them in the future.read more

I call Michelle a massage goddess, and I'm barely being hyperbolic. She has a gift of intuition and total awareness of everything that is going on in my body. She can pretty much look at me and figure out what I need, but she asks me anyway and clarifies what I tell her just to make sure I get what I need. Her specialties also include sacral cranial and reflexology massage. If you love a moderate to deep tissue massage, Cassandra is your person.
This massage makes my top 3 best massages of all time. It was completely different than any other deep massage I have had but I felt incredible after. We talked (she loves when her clients communicate with her), she stretched me, worked on my many knots and it was still somewhat relaxing.

The people were awesome but the actual massage was not. Too much time was spent with hot towels being wrapped around my hands and feet and on my back, I would have much preferred to have just a massage. Also way too long spent on my legs, when I think of a massage I think of my back, I even mentioned I was dealing with right shoulder pain and there was hardly any time spent there. My therapist was amazing but the chain store standard of massage left a lot to be desired.read more

I never leave negative reviews unless I'm strongly compelled to. The facial I received completely messed up my face. I got it done over a month ago and I am still recovering. It was like my skin was burned. Ive never had this happen before and it was not the first time Ive had a facial. I got the most basic facial and still the checmicals were harsh. I think the girl who did my facial left the creams on too long. She also was using a bobby pin to extract blackheads. I would not recommend a place where they dont use professional tools. The massage was okay. Not good all around. I did request my money back for the facial and they respected my wishes. But really I ended up spending more money on treating my face after the fact.read more

Hands down the most amazing spa day I have ever had - not exaggerating at all. Ashley was amazing, went in and although I had book at the other location the ladies there manage to fit me into their schedule - Ashely was seriously awesome - I mean the massage was everything that I hoped and more , super relaxing , super calming , and although I’m pregnant she managed to hit all the spots that were bothering me without being too delicate or too rough - just the right amount of pressure and right amount of everything. She also did a happy feet service and my swollen/gross legs and feet are like spaghetti right now because of how relaxing and amazing of a job she did. Honestly I would recommend this place SPECIALLY Ashley if you are looking to relax To the max. I wanted to buy my sister a gift card from the spa for her birthday. She lives in Tucson, but I do not, so I would need to purchase it on their website. Their website is completely unsecured. I would never put my credit card details into the website, because anyone can steal my credit card information when I submit it. The copyright on the website has not been updated since 2014. From the other reviews, it sounds like this salon offers good services, but sadly because of their unwillingness to update their website and utilize current, secure technology, my sister will not find out. Went here on Sunday for my first facial and I had the best experience ever! The spa itself was so cute darling and the receptionist at the front was kind and welcoming. Heather did my facial and she was absolutely awesome! We talked the entire time and by the end of it, I felt like I had made a new friend! My face felt so smooth and clean afterwards and I enjoyed every minute of it. I have been a loyal customer of Spa Solai for the past 8 years (I’ve been with them through the many name changes), but I will not be going to the Skyline location any longer.
I had a facial 1 week before a big event that left my face wrecked horribly. The girl who did it I have never been with before, but she seemed knowledgeable. when I left the salon my face was on fire and terribly red. The next morning it was peeling like crazy, red bumps everywhere, and so painful all over my neck and face. I thought I was having an allergic reaction to something, but I’ve gotten the basic facial many many times before and have never had an issue so I called the salon and asked if they had changed products at all so I could figure out what was going on. The girl who answered said she was new and didn’t know but would have the manager call me the following day to let me know. Nobody called. I called again a couple days later, was told the same thing by a different girl. Yet again no call. I’ve now called 5 times, the manager never seems to be there, and doesn’t return my calls at all. I’m not asking for money back or discounts, I literally just want to know the products and if they have changed.
So now I will no longer visit the Skyline location, I will try my luck with the one on 6th and hope it is better with the service.read more

My friend and I had tried to schedule an appointment for the Spa Package (which is supposed to include a massage, facial, and pedicure) on my day off from work, but I was told that they weren't able to get both of us in because they only have ONE NAIL TECHNICIAN. That really turned me off from this place, but I wanted to give them a chance to prove me wrong, so I settled for just the massages and facials.
THE DAY OF we were already about to leave to the spa when I received a phone call saying that one of the facials had been canceled due to SHORT STAFF, AGAIN. We still ended up going in hopes for a compromise. My friend was interested in lip fillers and since Spa Solai is advertised as a "Med Spa" we assumed they would be able to provide those services.
Once we got inside, we noticed that the nail room was completely empty, aside from the ONE nail technician. We asked the receptionist at the front desk about the lip fillers and she explained to us that despite still being ADVERTISED as a Med Spa, they stopped providing medical services as of 2016!
The receptionist was very nice and probably the only good thing about the whole experience, but at this point me and my friend had both decided that we didn't want to spend our money at such an UNDERSTAFFED, UNORGANIZED, and FALSELY-ADVERTISING business.read more

I went into this spa with high expectations after reading the reviews but left completely shocked and disappointed. As shown in the pictures, I had a horrible reaction to the wax they were using on my underarms. Mind you not, this picture was taken 3 days after the waxing. As if that wasn't bad enough, when I was done with my waxing service I decided to see if they had any availability for a pedicure (because you'd think that any good spa would have the openings to make their money) but I was told they didn't have time when I could clearly see inside the nail room and no one was in there and the lights were shut off. I was very unimpressed with the way this business is run. Extremely outdated and cheap.read more

I did not actually spend time at the salon. I just called to inquire about sugar waxing. It is NOT offered here, but she did answer the phone in a polite & concise manner. You can't go wrong with that😁read more

Highly recommend this place! I got a facial for the first time and it was amazing I was a bit nervous since I have very sensitive skin but the front desk & the girl who did my facial were super friendly and super helpful on answering my questions/concerns! I also got a manicure right after and it was super nice as well, my nails were pretty damage due to acrylic I had on before but my nails are much healthier now thanks to some tips she gave me! Definitely give this spa a thumbs up! 😀read more

It was wonderful! This was my first message and it was amazing. When you walk in it's very beautiful and welcoming. The staff are very friendly. I saw Darla for my session and she was awesome, made we so comfortable and relaxed, very professional and kind. I will definitely come back to see her! Was the best money I have ever spent!read more
